Bergig und grandios!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Was habe ich mich auf die Berge gefreut! Nein, nicht auf die 20+Prozent-Steigungen, die ich ja zuweilen schon hatte. Ich habe einfach Lust auf dramatische Landschaften, Berge statt H\u00fcgel. <\/p>\n<p>Da k\u00f6nnen die Reisfeldterrassen in Zentral-Java noch so reizvoll sein: Mir steht der Sinn nach Hochgebirge, nach epischen Steigungen, rasanten Abfahrten und atemraubenden Aussichten.<\/p>\n<p>Nun: Auf dem Weg von Solo nach Ponorogo werde ich nicht entt\u00e4uscht. Sanft geht es von Solo die H\u00e4nge des Lawu hinauf, es wird Reis, Gem\u00fcse und ein wenig Tee angebaut. Am Ende des Tages, besser gesagt am fr\u00fchen Nachmittag habe ich 1.500 H\u00f6henmeter auf 50 Kilometer in den Beinen.<\/p>\n<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag ein Tagesausflug rund am Tawangmangu. Ohne Gep\u00e4ck radle ich steil aus dem Ort hinaus in Richtung Berggrat, auf dem sich der hinduistische Tempel Candi Sukuh. Kein Angkor Wat, zugegeben, aber allein die Lage mit dem Blick ins Tal in Richtung Solo lohnt den Ausflug. <\/p>\n<p>Der dritte Tag ist dann die absolute Kr\u00f6nung: Gute sechs Stunden lasse ich mir f\u00fcr die 25 Kilometer zur Passh\u00f6he Zeit, fasziniert von der terrassierten Landschaft, von den Ausblicken und ja: auch ein wenig von der Strecke. Richtig steil ist es nicht, aber relativ gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig ansteigend, immerhin noch weitere 1.000 H\u00f6henmeter. Am Pass pfeifen dann gleich mehrere Gark\u00fcchen auf den Ramadan und ich g\u00f6nne mit Sate Kalinci: Karnickelspie\u00dfe mit Erdnussso\u00dfe, serviert auf einem Bananenblatt. Man g\u00f6nnt sich ja sonst nichts!<\/p>\n<p>Die Anfahrt h\u00e4lt noch ein paar landschaftliche Grandiosit\u00e4ten (und ein paar giftige Gegensteigungen) bereit, dann bin ich in
